Balance - But equally important in my opinion is a healthy "balance" between WARM marketing and COLD marketing - between OFFline marketing and ONline marketing. Each has its great strengths and will appeal to different folks in different ways, depending on individual interest levels, experience, finances, etc.
The Y-O-U Factor - However - having said all of the above - I would like to share with you what, in my view, are some truths about the single "biggest" ingredient for long term success and prosperity in any Home Business:

Y-O-U - must always, always be the one IN CONTROL. It must be YOUR Home Business. A true "business" is bigger than any one company or any product or service. A real business cannot just 'disappear' overnight. In a real business, you have the control - 100% - of a core asset.
Ownership - For example, in Network Marketing, you have zero control and zero ownership - unless you have branded "yourself". You have a tentative contract with a Network Marketing company that 'could' be terminated at the drop-of-a-hat (see their Policies & Procedures). You may think your downline is your asset, but it’s not - it is owned by the company, not you. You are essentially a 100% commission based Sales Rep. Not that this is bad - NO. It's just that this is the reality.
